I seldom recommend books I haven't read, but on reading this review in the NYT this morning, I can't help but believe that Sonya Sotomayor's will be well worth reading.
“I think this fish has found her pond.” That is one of many things in this review that resonate with me, and although my pond turns out to be a rickety old house with a computer and a garden view, I get it. I think I'll get the book, too.
The reviewer thinks this book compares favorably with another book I haven't read. Barack Obama's has been on my list of books to read for far too long. Both of these went to the top of the list today.
